THINKMAP 2.7 RELEASED

Upgrade eases development process and improves customer ability to develop visualization applications

NEW YORK, January 2007 - Thinkmap, Inc. (www.thinkmap.com), a leading maker of visualization software, today announced the release of version 2.7 of its flagship visualization technology product, the Thinkmap SDK (Software Development Kit). The SDK is the only full featured application that enables developers to rapidly create visualization applications such as Thinkmap's award-winning Visual Thesaurus (http://www.visualthesaurus.com). These visualizations are used in financial services, government, education, and many other industries, helping end-users navigate and understand relationships in large data sets.

The new version offers a number of features that make it easier for Thinkmap developers to work with the technology. These include:

1. The ability to extend functionality through applying JavaScript from within XML configuration files.
